Superbills
A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the information your insurance company may require to process reimbursement. Clients typically pay for each therapy session at the time of service, and then submit the superbill to their insurance provider to receive partial reimbursement, depending on their out-of-network benefits.
Important Superbill Considerations
• Not all insurance plans reimburse for out-of-network mental health services.
• Some plans require that you meet your deductible before reimbursement begins.
• Superbills can often be applied toward your insurance deductible.
We strongly recommend contacting your insurance provider before beginning therapy to understand your out-of-network mental health benefits, reimbursement rates, and deductible requirements. This can help you better predict the portion of therapy costs your insurance may cover.
Sliding Scales
Sliding scale payments (Sliding scale rate lower rate is $130 for 55 min Individual) will be granted if the following two criteria are met:
1) You can provide proof of qualification of Medicaid in your state
2) I have a Sliding scale spot open
